President - Margaret Vikingur
Margaret grew up in Northam and moved to Perth to commence her tertiary studies. She completed a diploma of teaching and taught in country and city primary schools, prior to beginning a family. Marg has three children, and has worked and studied part-time for the past twenty years in the area of education. She has a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Special Education. Her work with LADS involves counseling, administrative tasks, and speaking to groups about ADHD. Marg’s interests include sport & fitness, gardening, dressmaking and reading.
Vice-President - Marian Maughan
Marian has lived in WA throughout her life. She commenced her working career as a primary school teacher for three years. Marian joined the (then) Native Welfare Department and later undertook a public service scholarship to study a social work degree at WAIT (now Curtin University).
After many years as a social worker in the state welfare department, Marian retired in 1991. Marian then organized a series of annual conferences for the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Marian joined LADS in 2000 and has been involved as a volunteer and committee member, which she fits in with a number of volunteer activities for other organizations.

Stephen Davey - Committee Member
Stephen moved to Perth from Melbourne in 1993. He joined LADS in 1997, and completed a Certificate in ADHD at UWA’s Graduate School of Education in 1998. Stephen was elected to the Management Committee in 1999, and has been our Vice-President 2002 and President 2004, . He is co-facilitator of the Adult Support Group, and speaks on behalf of LADS at meetings of parents, carers and related support groups. Interests include football, horse racing, ocean paddling, tennis, photography, writing, Australian art, English language, life skills, health, and stress management.
